HOB/Gospel Brunch tickets for Oct will go on sale in Sept. IF people want to go to that, will need to choose 10 am or 1 pm & who will jump in the water first. That person will need to get a confirmation number and an identifying name, say crawfordslist or something, and let everyone else know; each will call in & buy their own tickets: $42 for dinner & show. They will build a database in their system and try to seat us together.

Zumanity suggested that we book as soon as we are able since it's a busy weekend. Since we will all have to book & charge these on our own, the rep suggested that one person is designated to jump in the water first on a specific day & ask for their tickets in an area with alot of available seating. Post the confirmation number ASAP so everyone else can call in and try to get tickets in the same general area. Their group sales office is open tomorrow, so I will see if there is a way to get a price break with us booking individualy.

I'm up for going to either one, or better yet, both.

Just talked to group sales rep for Zumanity & there is no price break.

I've already booked my plane & hotel & hope to see y'all there for whatever we end up doing. It's fun just to walk through the hotels/casinos, but I'm up for whatever.

Hi Blue: I found the link to HOB Gospel Brunch information

The brunch would take care of one of the hubby's meals. He can really pack away the food.:)

Okay, so I'm having complete confusion (which isn't unusual, but whatever). Are we staying at the same hotel or is it just a free for all?

It will be me plus two (maybe a third) for four total. So if we're buying tickets to stuff that will be group activities just let me know what I need to do.

Marisa,
It's every lister for him/herself this time. If you check the last thread, there are postings re: the lowest rates I found & they are downtown; Stratosphere is between downtown & the strip; Bally's is on the strip.

Blue-- ah, well, that actually makes things easier. I'll make reservations.

What about the group stuff?

Marisa - So far, I've just made calls about the two suggestions we had & posted the info here.

I guess we can let people know where we will be staying in case that helps anyone else decide where they want to stay, but looks like we will be all over town this time.

Everyone is encouraged to post info here about anything they are interested in doing so everyone can mull it over & vote.

I'm going in on Friday night to see "We Will Rock You," as nobody else seemed interested in that when I mentioned it earlier & I'll be staying at Bally's. (It's $30/$40 less per night than where I had intended to stay & it's right next door.)

I'm up for going to whatever the group decides.

Sinnin' on Saturday night & repentin' on Sunday--sounds good.

Like Gospel Brunch, we will have to pick a time for Zumanity: 7:30pm or 10:30pm.

Not sure what time those flying in from the east coast will be in or how the time change will effect them. Either time is fine with me.

If everyone can decide on whether or not they want to attend this show & choose a time, we can pick a day to book. (I'll offer to jump in first with my rez & post the confirmation number as outlined in an earlier post.)

If some don't want to go to this one, maybe we can all meet for drinks after the show.

We can figure out which time to go to HOB later, as we can't purchase those tickets for a couple of months.

Zumanity on Sat evening and bruch on Sunday sounds perfect to me. Since I get up at the crack of dawn even if out all night, I vote for the 10:00 a.m. brunch but will go along with the group decision.

As I understand it, we do our own hotel. Book the brunch but they will give us some sort of code and try to keep us together.

I'll pass on Zumanity and either meet up before or after or just gamble away the family fortune. Maybe those not attending the show could have dinner somewhere instead.

jamie - Good idea about a second gathering for anyone who doesn't want to go to the show. Zumanity is at NYNY and here is a list of places to dine in case we all want to meet somewhere before or after the show.

NYNY

The Chin Chin Cafe has Dim Sum.

I've been stuck in Tacoma for two years. Unless you trek up to Seattle, fried rice from Panda Express is considered cuisine.

OK, so all those headed to Zumanity need to decide if they want to go to the early or late show on Saturday, October 7th.
(I have no preference; 7:30 or 10:30 are both fine by me.)

Those who don't want to go can brainstorm something else to do.

Zumanity Seating

Saturday, October 7th

7:30 or 10:30?

Do we want to try to sit together? If so, do people want cabaret stools or something else? See seating chart.
